Saturday Night the John Kuntz Memorial Race was held at Springfield Raceway in Springfield, Missouri. The MARS sanctioned event drew 26 cars to the quick 1/4 mile track. Eric Turner started his heat sixth and worked his way up to a third place finish. Passing points placed Turner ninth on the starting grid for 40 Lap A-Feature. He was able to pick off a few cars during the feature and worked up to battle for fourth through sixth place before settling for a sixth place finish.

Eric unloaded Saturday night at Tri State Speedway in Pocola, OK for the Lucas Oil MLRA race. Heavy rains leading up to the event had it in question all the way up to late Saturday afternoon. The call was made to push on with the show and everyone did just that. Eric started and ran 3rd in his heat. This put him 10th in passing points after the heat races, so he started the 30 lap main event from the outside of the 5th row. He was moving forward and then about the mid point of the feature smoke started rolling out from under the rear of the car. He opted to pull off and save the engine from a total loss.

This weekend he will be racing with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series at Timberline Speedway in Texas and Ark-La-Tex Speedway in Vivian, LA.
