Eric made his first start of the 2012 season over the weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO. He was behind the wheel of the Kenny's Tile Rocket. "I want to thank Travis, Austin and everyone with the team for letting me drive their car this weekend," commented Turner. "They're a great group of guys with really nice equipment. I just wish the track would have been a little smoother, so we could have went after the win. I told Travis before the feature, that I wasn't going to tear up his car, that he didn't have to worry about it." Eric started 4th and finished 4th in his heat race. He avoided the B Main and rolled of for the feature from the outside of row 7. He stayed consistent throughout the race and finished in one piece, in 12th. "I broke a shock, and then just held on, the rest of the way."
