Eric Turner made his Eldora Speedway debut this past weekend with Pannell Motorsports, driving the 33x Rocket. "It was probably the best dirt experience I've ever had," said Turner. "The cars, people and competition there is just unreal. We all had fun this weekend and learned a lot. I would like to time trial again. I got more comfortable and was faster every time out. This was by far the hardest I've ever driven a race car. It was wide open around the entire track most of the time."

Turner was in the dreaded first heat. On Saturday at Eldora there are no hot laps, so the track is rarely ready to race during the first and second heats. Turner picked up one position and finished 10th. He was then in a C Main, where he finished 11th.

This weekend Eric is scheduled to debut a brand new GRT by Phillips Modified at Lucas Oil Speedway. It will be his first modified race of the season.
